Like many Californians, Eric Shaw is a native New Yorker who traveled west in search of the American Dream. He settled in Los Angeles in the late 1970s and immediately developed a plan to provide credit, collection and liquidation services to businesses throughout the state of California. He formed New York Credit, Inc., in 1979, targeting companies that could not afford to support these services in-house or that were not satisfied with the quality of service they were currently paying for. New York Credit's website, which details all related services, can be found at www.nycreditinc.com. Eric’s book on the subject, titled “The Game of Credit: Managing Your Accounts Receivable for Profit” is available on Amazon.com.
In 1993, Eric founded the All Cities Business and Finance Group, to increase his networking realm for New York Credit. The group soon expanded in scope and became know as the All Cities Network. In recognition of the changing times in which we live, the group now has a new moniker: The All Cities 21st Century Network. The majority of members, however, still refer to the group simply and lovingly as All Cities.
Eric is a master networker. In fact, he wrote a book on the subject as well: “Championship Networking” by Eric Shaw, Your Networking Personal Trainer. True to his mantra – it’s not what you know, but who you know, Eric shares his time-tested networking secrets, laid out 51 easy-to-follow steps. The book is available on Amazon.com, but new members receive a copy as a “welcome” gift when they join All Cities. **
